Washington County, to wit:

On this 6^th day of August A. D. 1857 personally appeared Ann Anderson before me, a Justice of the Peace in and for said County, and made oath according to law that Fanny Butler, a mulatto woman aged about thirty two years is a free woman and born free in the County of Washington aforesaid.
