I'm Sisterkelly, I have been interested in my family heritage since I inherited my G-Grandmother's bible. Around 1800 David Brooks(My G-G-Grandfather, along with his wife Frances left Upshur Co. W.V. Banks district for Rendville, OH in Perry Co. Monroe Twp. and some of their children(my Grandfather) who were already grown lived in Glouster, OH Athens Co. Trimble Twp.  My Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles shared so many exciting as well as sad stories with us, that as kid we wanted to be transported back in time. Several sirnames are Brooks, Taylor, Viney, Mitchell, Misner and Lewis. If you are or ever have been from that area please contact me. Maybe you've seen some of thse faces at your gatherings. I want so much to put a name to some of the unknown faces. Now that I have grandchildren of my own I want to leave them with stories and photos from as far back as I can and so they will be able to pass on their own proud roots.
