Location: Take Highway 37 into Greensburg, La. Turn left on 449 and go down approxmately one mile. The Cemetery sits back off the road on the left hand side. Jackson Chapel Independent African Methodist Episcopal Church is located at the intersection of Highway 37 and Highway 449.

Jackson Chapel Independent African Methodist Episcopal Church was founded in 1958. The present structure was built in 1983. The founding members are: Caesar Ricks, James Ricks, Wiley Claiborne, Alton Jackson, Lily Amacker, Clayton Jackson,and W.E. Griffin. The Church is affiliated with the M.W. Prince Hall Grand Lodge, F & AM of Louisiana.
